McEwens Food Hall

Welcome to the McEwens Food Hall, a true haven of gourmet food products, featuring the very best of Scottish and Italian produce. Founded by Andreas Fehrle and ran as a concession within the McEwens at Home store, the foodhall is a great place to indulge in a bit of shopping for yourself or food loving friends and relatives.

The food hall delicatessen showcases a multitude of delicious cheeses including Mozzarella di Bufala, Dolcelatte, Taleggio and whole wheels of 30 month matured Parmesan Cheese. Complimenting the cheeses is a colourful range of antipasti such as marinated olives, stuffed peppers and roasted artichokes as well as a vast selection of Italian meats including Salami, Bresaola, Mortadella and the finest hams from Parma. The delicatessen also stocks smoked products from Rannoch smokeries and a variety of salmons, including the award winning Dunkeld smoked salmon.

Specialists in olive oil and vinegar the food hall boasts an unrivalled stock of some of the finest balsamic vinegars and olive oils Italy has to offer featuring aged balsamic vinegars up to 100 years old and for those with a sweet tooth the hand crafted gourmet chocolates from Ian Burnett “the famous Highland Chocolatier” are not to be missed. To compliment the gourmet food is a selection of fine wines, champagne, after dinner liqueurs and select Scottish whisky’s.

Unique to the Mc Ewens food hall is the new range of Clan Italia kilty aprons, chef aprons, table runners and napkins featuring the famous Scottish Italian tartan and for coffee lovers. the food hall stocks the latest range of retro style “Illy” coffee machines and limited edition designer espresso and cappuccino sets.

Luxury food hampers and gift boxes are available all year round and food hall gift vouchers can be ordered in store or on line.

Our new Italian coffee lounge has opened and serves quality Italian coffee and delicious Tuscan pastries.
